- Replace engine oil and oil filter every 3,750 miles or 6 months, or 5,000 miles when using synthetic oil.
- Check engine oil and coolant reservoir at each fuel stop
- Inspect and service front and rear brakes every 7,500 miles or 12 months
- Rotate tires every 7,500 miles (12000 km)
- Inspect SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) every 10 years after production
Toole's Garage has some suggested items that you could check at the specific intervals.
- Engine oil level - Check every time you fill the tank with fuel.
- Engine coolant level - Check the radiator reserve tank every time you check the oil level.
- Windshield washer fluid - Check the operation monthly if you don't use often. If you use the washers frequently, just top off the reservoir each time you stop for fuel.
- Tires - Check the tire pressure monthly if your vehicle does not have TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). Examine the tread for wear and foreign objects.
- Lights - Check the operation monthly of the headlights, taillights, parking lights, all brake lights, including the high-mount brake light, turn signal operation, and don't forget the license plate lights too!
