We recently had our Lexus SC430 repaired by Toole's Garage. We had been to a local Lexus dealership recently for a quote to repair a problem with the hard-top convertible feature and the dealership gave us a estimate of over $2k to repair estimate for a problem they identified as a broken hinge. They didn't provide any detail as to how they determined that the hinge was the problem when asked (the hinge is only visible when the trunk liners are removed. Dave Toole quoted us a repair based on actual work hours performed rather than a stock quote from a factory recommended repair manual. Toole's provided a loaner auto for a very most cost - updates during the problem discovery phase - no unnecessary parts to inflate the cost - and most importantly, the problem was found (it was not a broken hinge) and repaired for a fraction of the dealership cost. Toole's has a very congenial staff from top to bottom - customers are greeted and serviced by a very professional staff - and they provide great service, a detailed service report, and very fair prices. We're not going back to the Lexus dealership.
