San Carlos & Valley Springs Auto Repair

Even though the cost was much more than I expected, it is what it is. What was confusing to me is that the recommendation is to change my tires, but I just got new tires last month. Also recommended was to replace the hood strut, but I'm sure that Dave did that for me either this year or last year and it feels fine. I'm not getting the sense that there was an actual thorough inspection done on my car?

I found Toole's Garage through a Google Search for an alternator replacement originally. I was impressed with my first visit that has lead to using them for other repairs as well. This last visit was actually for a synthetic oil change. The place I had been going to for my oil changes had significantly increased the price of their synthetic oil change that I called Toole's to see if they were competitive. They were less by a few bucks and I was at the garage I liked the best. From Fernando, the mechanic who worked on my vehicle, to Bo, Dave, Audra and Ceclia, I couldn't ask to be better taken care of. The simplest of questions and concerns are answered and we get some good laughs and chuckles in there too. Competent, competitive pricing, cleanliness, explaining of the problem and suggestions for future care, this is a must try and check out. Don't think you will end up going anywhere else. Timothy

I own a 2006 Civic Hybrid. Recently, service on the hybrid battery was required and my son, Mike, who works at Holland Car Care, recommended Toole's Garage since his shop doesn't work on hybrids. I spoke with Toole's owner and made an appointment to bring the car in for service. At the shop, I gave Bo information on the symptoms the car was exhibiting at the time. I had the battery replaced by Honda under warranty and the same things were happening again. I was told when I called the new battery would be better than the one Honda supplied and less expensive as well. Can't beat that, so I handed over the keys. The repair took a bit longer than I initially thought but the battery wasn't stocked at the shop, so ... OK. Anyway, the car works like it should now and I'm happy.

I normally do all the work on my own cars because I don't have faith in shops, I took my car to Toole's because I needed some things done I couldn't do myself. I found them to be very imforable and thorough. they do great work, and they are the nicest bunch of people you could meet. they will be the only shop that I will have do work on my cars.
