I was a customer of Toole's Garage while I was living in San Carlos, and recently I moved south to Santa Cruz. My starter was one of the parts that Toole's replaced for me while I was their customer, and my starter went out less than a year after it was installed!!!! No need to worry, the starter has a full lifetime warranty and Toole's covered the labor at another auto shop in Santa Cruz. That is great customer service, which I loved while I was their customer and I now miss. Thank you so much Dave, Beau, Audrey , Cecelia and team. You guys truly are the best!!!

Cecelia and Beau at the front counter are very gracious and helpful, they always take good care of me. They patiently explain automotive technicalities to me, and honestly tell me what repairs I can wait to tackle ('cause they know I'm on a squeaky-tight budget), which I truly appreciate.Francisco, head mechanic, is AWESOME and makes my elderly Accord run like a charm!And since I don't live close by the Garage, I really appreciate the inexpensive loaner.Dave Toole runs a wonderful shop, and stands behind the work. I highly recommend Toole's Automotive -- you don't go wrong.

This is a five star auto repair shop. Let me give you one brief example that says it all. A faulty caliper went out on my brakes causing damage after this shop had replaced the brakes. I have since left the bay area and now live in Reno Nevada. Bo nor his repair shop was not directly responsible for my bad caliper but he stood behind the brake job to no end. He coordinated with his break supplier for new brakes and rotors to be sent to him, which he in turn sent to the repair shop in Reno. My brakes are now being repaired in Reno at minimal cost me thanks to the diligent work of the folks at this uniquely excellent repair shop in San Carlos. Actions speak louder than words. You can believe in these guys.

My car had been having some issues for a few days and of course it picked xmas eve to break down. I made the mistake of *shopping around* and after literally being laughed at because of the poor timing I called Tooles....They were kind, empathetic, attentive and listened. They told me they would take my car in that day but because of the holiday they most likely would not get to it until Monday. I needed a car for work and all their rental cars were out already but they made a call to a rental place and even offered a discount through their account. A few hours passed and I received a call from them saying they had figured out the main problem and could have it back to me within hours....I am not sure why they looked at it or helped me that day, perhaps they sensed the panic in my voice over not having a car for a week but I am eternally grateful to them. They are the best! They even charged me $100 less than the original quote. Thank You Tooles!!!! You were my xmas angels and I will be back:)

These guys did a nice job on reconditioning my Lexus hybrid battery and at a much lower cost than the dealership.

I was very impressed with the service, pricing and knowledge of my vehicle at Toole's Garage. After my experience here I wouldn't take my car (Prius) anywhere else.

As always, I received great personalized service at Toole's. I love that there is wifi so I can work while I wait for my car. Beau let me know there would be some major services coming up and offered to send me the full breakdown of the services which is super helpful. No pressure at all to get a bunch of other services done to my car which I appreciate.
