San Carlos & Valley Springs Auto Repair

My car is 15 years old, and I still enjoy driving it. I had it serviced for an upcoming road trip to southern California. Sean phoned and suggested changing fluids in the transmission and differential. I felt that was reasonable, and they were able to do it the same day.

They gave excellent customer service, they are honest, and fixed my car quickly and efficiently! I found a great auto mechanic shop and I will take my car there again!

I have been taking my cars to Toole's for well over a decade. The service has always been exemplar. Highly recommend Toole's for all your automotive needs. Only gripe is they always call be, "Bud."

Good service and communication

Great service!! 1997 4Runner had a leak at fuel filter (my fault). After putting on a new filter, still leaking. I was stranded 30 miles from home. Called Toole's after reading positive Yelp reviews and Mark said he could look at the 4Runner that day. Tow truck dropped off car and Mark and Shawn skipped their lunch break to trouble shoot. Shawn found fuel line needed to be re-flared. Mark went out to get a new filter while another worked on the flaring. Knowing I was unable to get home, they worked me into their schedule- very busy shop. I was in and out within 3 hours. Customer service goes a long way. I will drive the extra miles next time I need service on the 4Runner.

Photos of the repairs needed and lots of clear communication. Gave me multiple options and treated me and my beat up Toyota Matrix with kindness and respect.

I had a great experience at Toole’s. Sean was very professional, polite and patient. They thoroughly inspected my car and took the time to explain to me what they did and all recommended services. I will definitely be back.
